ABOUT US: Archiact Interactive is a Vancouver-based Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) Studio that develops new and unique ways for people to play games and interact with each other. We partner with IP holders, large publishers, and tech brands to create and deliver immersive, high-end game experiences across multiple platforms with a special focus on building new tools for cutting edge emerging technology.

ROLE OVERVIEW: We are looking for a junior to intermediate Dev Ops Engineer who enjoys working on an agile and fast paced team that is bringing high quality VR/AR projects to life. Reporting to the Director of Technology the Dev Ops Engineer is expected to build and maintain the bridge between the development team and the game development environments. Individuals in this role are pro-active problem solvers with the ability to work effectively with large-scale systems, who demonstrate a strong dedication and passion for technology.



  • Perform system configuration, troubleshoot application, network, and source control problems.
  • Evaluate and adopt technologies to improve team efficiency and platform capabilities.
  • Maintain documentation of systems configurations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the whole team to implement best of breed technologies and provide support.
  • Contribute to the Dev Ops processes by automating tasks and developing Dev Ops tools.
  • Manage all source control systems.
  • Research and introduce new technologies for all employees and management.
  • Plan and execute cost-focused IT projects.
  • Oversee day-to-day IT challenges in the Studio.
  • Assist in the technological strategy in conjunction with the development team of each project: pipeline, tools, and key development procedures.
  • Scout for and evaluate new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence.
  • Oversee the technical design documentation process for correctness and timeliness.
  • Assist with the creation, implementation, and maintenance of technology and data security related studio-wide policies.



  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Perforce or Plastic source control software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • A team-player attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
